I think if I were a Raid Leader and had to choose between either a moonkin or a mage that were equally geared I would take the moonkin. The 5 spell crit helps out a lot of other classes, and they can heal if needed. Another good thing about them is Battle rez. I don't know how many times I have heard the RL call out for a Brez because someone has died too early in a fight. If a fight is a few seconds, we do really well while we smash through our initial 100 energy. If it is a bit longer, then our DPS slows as the lack of energy hits. Then it jumps up significantly once we get that SavageRoared 5pt Rip going. As far as the best measure I look at it this way - if the fight is over so quick that you can't get to that higher level of DPS, then it doesn't really matter how much DPS you do as the fight is going to be finished so quick anyway. Last night my Allied humter attempted to swim to the new lands of the blood elves in order to tame a mana wyrm as a pet. Although the world map showed land there, the mini-map and my senses showed only water. I thought the Blood Elf land was directly connected to the Ghostlands. As a horde character, I had used the transporter in Silver Moon City. I now assume that the blood elf lands are generated like an instance zone and can't be reached in regular travel. There are a few creatures there that would be sweet to have as pets, particualrly for an Allied character. Does anyone know if these lands can be actually reached by Allied characters? So my first endgame toon before BC hit was a Nightelf hunter. Many people on WoW share their opinions openly(bluntly) with the the rest of the realm saying how they hate hunters. Well myself I love them, although retired my Ally to play horde. Here are some truths, or at least I think they are, about hunters: 1. Hunter is an easy class to level up and in the end your build doesn't effect this fact too much to be a problem for newer players. 2. A Hunter's build doesn't depict PvP ability, it is the handling of the 180 shot and knowing how to combat your enemy.(Ex- BM is a potent caster killer, but used with frost trap(or ice trap dueling), WC, FD, and 180 CS you can kite a melee class and suffer little dmg) 3. Hunters can contain almost any situation. They are adaptive to the problem faced upon them, perhaps this is one reason hunters are so potent. They can off tank, Rarely MT with a pet(BM spec + mail can pit you close to a proc warrior) on a single mob and hold aggro(BM Spec is the only spec to hold aggro with other DPSers, intimida...

If you were fighting gray mobs she wouldn't gain xp. She also wouldn't gain any from quests. If you're 19 in westfall you may have been fighting the lower level stuff.
